With reference to the arrangement by
which arms, ammunition and the like are obtainable
through the War Office I have the honour to enclose a
copy of correspondence with that Department respecting
the price charged for some ammunition supplied to the
Government of Hong Kong. We propose to inform the
Government of Hong Kong of the decision of the War
Office but, before doing so, we should be glad to know
if the Secretary of State considers it necessary to
